Ring in the holidays with the gift of BRC membership

POCATELLO, ID (December 9, 2014) - Give the gift of recreational access this holiday season. Nothing is more important to that outdoor recreation enthusiast on your holiday gift list than a future of trails, access and having fun!  You can make that happen with the gift of a BlueRibbon Coalition (BRC) membership - the champions of responsible recreation nationwide who help keep the outdoor fun alive!

For only $29, your gift of a BRC membership is an inexpensive gift to purchase. "As an outdoor enthusiast myself, I can't imagine getting anything more meaningful than the gift of access." said Del Albright, BRC Director of Operations. "If the person on your gift list doesn't already know about BRC, this is an awesome opportunity to introduce them to BRC, and if that person is already a BRC member, we will just add a year to their membership."

To purchase your BRC gift membership online, go to http://bit.ly/brc-gift-membership.

What are the benefits of a BRC membership? With a BRC membership there are two types of benefits: tangible and intangible. The tangible benefits include a membership card, a member handbook, a decal and newsletter/magazine.

Though they are harder to describe, the can't-pack-them-into-a-box intangible benefits are the most valuable.
The most important of these is a NATIONAL voice that speaks for YOU against further road, trail and area closures and other threats to recreation. This includes a Legal Action Team that has in the past -- and will in the future -- take the battle to the courts when necessary.

You also get ownership of BRC.  With every membership comes voting rights. You become a part of BRC's decision making process and leadership choices. You also get direct access to our land use team when your access needs help. You are BRC. Your participation and support is our lifeblood.

Your support helps to make sure our website is available to everyone, member or not. Our website provides valuable knowledge. The website gives you not only up-to-date information on what is going on with access issues, but with our online Advocacy Tools and Email Alert System, it provides the information and tools to make a difference.

Knowledge is power; our website and mailings give you the opportunity, information and skills to influence the decisions that are made regarding your access. We can't put that in a box and mail it to you.

Just think, you can give all this to someone for just $29.
