RZ Mask Promotes BRC & Other Great Groups

December 09, 2011 8:26 PM

RZ Mask is one of those businesses that "gets it." They understand that organizations like BRC are out there fighting to keep recreational access open and they are actively spreading the word in support of organizations like BRC, Treadlightly, the Rider Down Foundation, and Women of the Wild Outdoors. Most recently, at their own expense, they have started "branding" all the bags they send out with their masks with the logos of the BlueRibbon Coalition and the other organizations. It is a reminder that people need to know about and support the work we are doing on behalf of enthusiasts.

‬I appreciate businesses with that level of awareness and initiative to support the recreation we all love so much. In the case of RZ Mask, I hadn't used their product at the time I first heard about their efforts to make sure all their customers knew about BRC, so I acquired one of their masks to give it a try. It rocks. Instead of fighting with the stupid bandana all day, the adjustable Velcro band fits your face, and stays put under your helmet. More importantly, it does a waaaay better job of keeping the dust out. It is a must have for any rider... ATV, motorcycle, or otherwise.

It isn't just dust either. Some of you may know that I live in South Dakota and am a little "hard core" with my on road riding. When I can ride my motorcycle, I do. I ride that thing everywhere, starting in the spring and riding well into the fall. This last year, I took to wearing the RZ Mask on those cold mountain mornings and during the chilly evening. It keeps my face toasty and, because of the way the mask deals with exhaling, there is no more moisture/frosty buildup around my mouth and nose, nor does my face shield fog up like when I was wearing the bandana or neckie.

I'm telling you that not only are they spreading the word on supporting BRC, the folks at RZ Mask make a good product that works. And, I can think of a bunch of other uses for this mask... winter ATVing and snowmobiling, hunting, car exhaust, runners dealing with high pollen count, working on projects with high dust like bondo sanding or woodworking, heck, I may even wear it shoveling my walk and driveway in the freezing cold South Dakota air this winter.

Visit them at www.rzmask.com. While you are there, thank them for supporting BRC.
