BRC and Legal Partners Object to Court Ordered Interim Closures
OAKLEY, CA (April 5, 2012) -- BlueRibbon Coalition Western Representative, Don Amador, has put together some links to provide greater detail on the court order threatening closures in Eldorado National Forest.
Below are links to documents related to the ongoing Eldorado Lawsuit, including the March 28, 2012 response from California Association of 4 Wheel Drive Clubs, California Enduro Riders Association, American Motorcyclist Association District 36, and BlueRibbon Coalition--opposing the Forest Service's proposed order re: Case No. 2:09-CV-02523-LKK-JFM DEFENDANT-INTERVENORS' RESPONSE TO DEFENDANTS' PROPOSED ORDER.
"Until the court answers our response to the proposed order," said Don Amador, "the named routes are still closed by the seasonal closure. We expect their answer shortly."
"As you can see from these pleadings," Amador continued, "the aforementioned intervenors are the last line of defense against the immediate closure of the routes in question."
