MONTANA - Public Comment Period on BLM Little Rockies Travel Management Plan Extended The Bureau of Land Management Malta Field Office is seeking public input about the Little Rockies Travel Management Plan. The BLM is looking for input on motorized vehicle, off-highway vehicle, snowmobile and non-motorized transportation uses on public lands in the Little Rockies Travel Management Planning Area of Phillips County. The 30-day scoping period which began on April 5, 2016, has been extended until July 6, 2016. The purpose of site-specific travel planning is to develop management that will: meet public and administrative access needs, provide for recreation experiences, minimize user conflicts and natural resource impacts associated with roads and trails and be financially affordable to maintain.
