BRC has just received Email Alerts from our partners at ARRA (Americans for Responsible Recreational Access) in regards to a Crook County Court Public Town Hall meeting tonight to consider the Oregon Wild proposal to create a 312,000-acre Ochoco Mountains National Recreation Area. Please attend if you can, but -- in any event -- please send emails to your elected officials to let them know that motorized recreation is important to you and to the Oregon economy.

BRC has just received Email Alerts from our partners at ARRA (Americans for Responsible Recreational Access) in regards to a Crook County Court Public Town Hall meeting tonight to consider the Oregon Wild proposal to create a 312,000-acre Ochoco Mountains National Recreation Area.

Participate in Town Hall Meeting Tonight and/or Click Take Action to Send Comments

Oregon Wild, an environmental group, has developed a proposal to create a 312,000-acre Ochoco Mountains National Recreation Area in the Ochoco National Forest and in the Prineville Bureau of Land Management District, including 26,000 acres of designated wilderness. Under the proposal, use of any motorized vehicles would be permanently limited to roads designated for their use. The proposal would prohibit the proposed 129-mile OHV trail system in Ochoco National Forest.
 
The Crook County Court will hold a Public Town Hall TONIGHT to consider the Oregon Wild proposal.  Please attend if you can, but in any event, please send emails to your elected officials to let them know that motorized recreation is important to you and to the Oregon economy.

CALIFORNIA - Public Invited to Rasor Off-Highway Vehicle Area Tour and Comment
